GymSet AI Terms of Use

By using GymSet AI ("the App"), you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts

• Sign up with a valid email address and keep your password safe.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), you must first get your parent's or guardian's consent.
• Use only your own account. Don't pretend to be someone else.

2. The service

The App lets you log your workouts and take on friends in one-on-one battles. In a battle, both players train every day and upload a proof photo. Either player can reject a photo they believe is fake.

• Battles involve no money, points, or prizes, and you may not use them for betting.
• The "AI suggests" weight is a simple calculation based on your previous workout. It is not medical or professional training advice. Train within your limits. If you feel unwell, stop and see a doctor.

3. User content

Your proof photos, your nickname, and any text you enter, such as plan names and notes, are your content:

• You must have the right to upload it.
• Your battle opponents can see your proof photos, your nickname, and the workout you use for each check-in.
• You allow us to store and process your content, and to show it to your opponents, so we can run the service.

Prohibited content and conduct

Do not upload or set:

1. Nudity, sexual, or sexually suggestive photos.
2. Violent, gory, or self-harm content.
3. Harassing, bullying, discriminatory, or hateful content, including nicknames.
4. Photos of other people taken without their consent, or other people's personal information.
5. Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other rights.
6. Illegal content, or content that promotes illegal goods.
7. Photos unrelated to training that are meant to harass your opponent.

Also, do not:

• Attack, disrupt, or try to get around the App's security, for example by trying to access battles or photos that aren't yours.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or battles in bulk.

We do not review photos before they are shown, and the App has no automatic filtering. Proof photos are visible only to the two players in that battle. They are not public.

4. Reporting and enforcement

• If you see an inappropriate photo or nickname in a battle, tap "Report or block" at the bottom right of your opponent's card on the battle screen, choose a reason, and send it. You can also email support@gymsetai.com. Include your account email, your opponent's nickname, the battle date, and a description of the problem.
• We review reports within 24 hours of receiving them. If we confirm a violation, we will remove the content and may disable the account.
• The "Reject" button in a battle only marks that day's check-in as not counting. It is not a way to report content.
• From the same menu you can tap "Block this user". After blocking, you no longer see their proof photos, and neither of you can join the other's battles or start a rematch; a battle already in progress continues until it ends. Blocking does not hide the photos you have already uploaded in a battle in progress from the other user. You can unblock under "Blocked users" on the Profile tab. Other ways to avoid someone: don't share your invite code with them, take back a battle nobody has joined yet, or decline their rematch invite.

5. Termination

• You can stop using the App at any time. You can also delete your account in the App: open the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account (the red text below Log out), and then tap Delete forever in the confirmation dialog. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept after deletion.
• If you violate these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account without notice.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

• The App is provided "as is." We work to keep it running, but we can't guarantee it will never go down or that data will never be lost.
• Training carries a risk of injury. The App's content (including the "AI suggests" weight) is not medical advice. If you feel unwell, stop training and consult a doctor or another qualified professional.
• To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the App.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

7. Changes

If we make significant changes to these terms, we'll announce them on our website and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the new terms.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The Taiwan Taipei District Court is the court of first instance for disputes arising from these terms. This does not take away any rights that consumers have under the mandatory rules of the place where they live.
